HOPEHIV (Harlequins Official Charity) - HOPEHIV supports some of the millions of children and young people in sub-Saharan Africa who have been orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS. Instead of dismissing these young people as victims, HOPEHIV believes that, given the opportunity, they have the potential to change Africa’s future from the bottom up. HOPEHIV works with community-based projects to generate real hope through emotional and social support, education, economic empowerment, and child rights. HOPEHIV is Quins’ current charity partner. Andre Vos is leading the charge as we work with them to raise as much as possible for economic empowerment projects such as Valuable girls in Zambia, Aids Care and Education Trust in Northern Uganda and Malawi Consol Homes.
