Heung-Min Son expresses his delight after scoring the winner in Tottenham Hotspurs’ 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace during the weekend
Tottenham Hotspur have not made the best of starts to their Premier League campaign but things seem to be finally looking up as Spurs put in a fine performance during the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The victory was Tottenham’s first at White Hart Lane this season and the North London side will now surely be hopeful of pushing on during the next few weeks.
Tottenham’s performance was encouraging for manager Mauricio Pochettino and a large part of the London’s side’s improved display was due to the presence of new signing Heung-Min Son.
Son ran the show from midfield during the clash and the South Korean international provided the telling difference on the day by scoring a magnificent individual goal.
Son already seems to have become a fans favourite at White Hart Lane with his performances and following the game, the midfielder expressed his delight at being able to make the telling difference during the clash.
Speaking after the game, Son said, “I’m very happy because we won our first home game. I scored my first Premier League goal and I’m really happy.
“It’s amazing, a really different style to the Bundesliga. Lots of power and speed. I like this and I’m happy to play here.”
Son has looked magnificent in a Tottenham jersey and the 23-year old looks set to be a wonderful addition for the North London side.
